Often, players have a string installed without any questions about their playing style. However, string advice is an essential part of a good stringing service, as many factors influence the choice of string: what racket do I use, how often do I play, how powerful is my swing, how old am I, what is my stroke technique, how long are my shots currently going to the baseline with my current strings, do I have any aches and pains, etc.
All these criteria influence the choice of different material types or the adjustment of diameter and tensioning weight.

Today we have another item from our "Under Test" series . Because we not only regularly give away tennis rackets, but we also test them ourselves from time to time. And we do so with great enthusiasm, and as a former regional league player (hopefully) with sufficient expertise. I was especially thrilled when I got to test the DUNLOP FX500 , because this racket really "captivated" me from the start. In my opinion, it's the perfect blend of power, control, and comfort . Incidentally, our travel scout Marc was just as enthusiastic about this racket as I was! Find out more about my racket test and the DUNLOP FX 500 racket.
As part of our tournament sponsorship at the METZINGEN OPEN at the end of July, we were looking for a travel scout for the ROBINSON KYLLINI BEACH in Greece . Read Thilo's travel scout report to find out how he experienced this fantastic week of tennis in Greece!

The book title alone, "Are You Still Playing Real Tennis or Are You Already Winning Something?", piqued my curiosity . When I then read the subtitle of Heinz Schwarz's debut work, "A Theory of Relativity on the Tennis-Teaching Joke of 'Real Tennis'," there was only one thing to do: open the book and start reading. And that's exactly what I did during my summer vacation on the beach, without a single break. The 132 pages that the Austrian-born, now Bavarian-based tennis coach has written about the sense or nonsense of "real tennis" are truly entertaining. The author rather rebelliously questions the teaching methods of many of his colleagues who train the average tennis player. The book explores why and how "average tennis players" should be trained to ultimately get the most out of them, or at least approach their full potential. And he does so in a way that often made me smile under the Corsican sun!
