What gave me the idea to launch TennisTraveller ?

Well, there are several reasons for that:

• We are a tennis-mad family who love to travel.
  Firstly, I'm what you might call a true "tennis mom" – tennis-mad in the best possible way. A tennis court is simply a must on our family vacations with our children. But we tennis parents also want to enjoy good food and relaxation on vacation – all of which plays an equally important role in choosing our tennis holiday accommodation. And with five people, that adds up to quite a few requirements...
• Organizing a tennis camp isn't always easy.
  For many years, I've been responsible for finding a great tennis destination for my husband's men's 40+ team's preseason training, one that caters to all ages and abilities. It's not always a simple task. But you can find some of our previous destinations here – because thorough research beforehand has always resulted in a wonderful tennis holiday.
• The tennis travel blog on TVPro-online is a huge success!
  Together with my husband Matthias, I've been running the tennis tournament portal www.tvpro-online.de . For almost two years now, I've also been writing a blog – one section focuses on tennis travel and tennis hotels. My blog posts in this category are thankfully very well received by our readers – a sign for me that there are many TennisTraveller who want to experience tennis holidays far from the usual tourist traps.

This is how the idea for TennisTraveller , a site that isn't just meant to list tennis hotels one after another – that already exists. No, we want to TennisTraveller into an authentic and honest tennis travel portal , where we primarily recommend tennis hotels that have actually been visited and rated highly TennisTraveller

So, a recommendation portal for tennis hotels and tennis camps from the tennis community for the tennis community!

Completely without glossy advertising or marketing jargon. With this aim, we're launching TennisTraveller into the world of tennis hotels. And since we (unfortunately) can't always recommend and test the hotels ourselves, we naturally rely on your tips.

Now let's get down to brass tacks - yes, we also accept money

We will start with hotels and destinations that we have personally visited and that we can wholeheartedly and happily recommend.

To make TennisTraveller truly and consistently appealing to you, we need significantly more tennis hotels. These hotels will pay an annual fee for the right to use TennisTraveller . We believe this is a fair deal.

Our goal is to secure test weekends for travel-loving and honest TennisTraveller at new hotels – because that's the only way we can live up to our standards. We'll see if it all works out that way. But that's our plan for now.
