Great tennis before the heavy rain. The singles final of the first Saturn Oil Open was moved forward an hour to 1 p.m. due to the critical weather forecast. In June, two international UTR Pro Tennis Tour tournaments will take place at the PMTR/KHTC Mülheim facility on Mintarder Straße: a women's tournament from Monday, June 13th to Sunday, June 19th, and a men's tournament from Sunday, June 26th to Sunday, July 3rd. Starting Sunday, May 22, 2022, the wait is finally over: the first Saturn Oil Open, ATP Tennis on the Rhine & Sieg, will take place in Troisdorf. Following the major ATP tour event in Halle (formerly the Gerry Weber Open), the Saturn Oil Open will be another tennis highlight in North Rhine-Westphalia. The winner of the event will receive 80 ATP ranking points, and a total of over US$55,000 in prize money will be awarded. In addition, the newly established B&B Hotels Tennis Trophy will be up for grabs.
