We had the pleasure of conducting another interview as part of our regional special "Tennis Holidays in Carinthia" with Roland Heitzeneder . The ATP Challenger tournament landscape will gain a prominent addition in 2022: the traditional TVM Open, previously an ITF tournament, will become the ATP Challenger Saturn Oil Open . The tournament location remains Troisdorf near Cologne. This is a remarkable development in the anything but easy tournament scene. That such a "tournament upgrade" is even possible is certainly thanks to the tireless dedication and extensive experience of tennis entrepreneur Marc Raffel , who will continue as organizer and tournament director. Together with none other than Marc-Kevin Goellner as co-tournament director, the duo has secured an attractive sponsor. We are eager to see which tennis stars the pair will bring to the event from May 22nd to 29th, 2022. We are delighted TennisTraveller to be a tournament partner!

Our Travelscout trips are always highly sought after, as they take our TennisTraveller to simply wonderful tennis locations. For a very special tennis destination, the ROBINSON SARIGERME PARK, we were looking for a Travelscout in September. The lucky winner not only got to enjoy a week's club holiday, but also a tennis camp with Nicolas Kiefer, ROBINSON brand ambassador and top tennis expert . Among the many, many applicants, Birgit from Ismaning was the lucky winner. Together with her daughter, she spontaneously used the Bavarian autumn holidays at the beginning of November for a mother-daughter Travelscout trip.

Trying new things, constantly developing ourselves, getting to the bottom of things – all of this is so important for us TennisTraveller to improve our tennis. But we're not just striving to improve on the court, but also in the business side of things. That's why we're breaking new ground and collaborating with professionals in data collection for the first time. We're supporting Daniel Fiedler, who is conducting the survey on "sports travel" as part of his bachelor's thesis at Ruhr University Bochum .
