"We've already packed!" - with these words, mom Ayleen sent me the lovely picture of her son Jonas. Ayleen had entered our PMTR competition and now, along with her son, will be going to a 4-day tennis camp at the PMTR Tennis Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr from January 3rd to 6th, 2020. The excitement was especially great because the prize includes not only the tennis camp but also 4 nights' accommodation at the B&B Hotel Mülheim an der Ruhr . "Thank you so much for the fantastic early Christmas present!!! We are thrilled with this amazing package! What a great way to start the new tennis year in 2020." "You can't imagine how thrilled I am about winning, I'm absolutely overjoyed!" - that was Mario's reaction when we informed him in April that he was our ROBINSON Club and Camp tester for the ROBINSON Club Sarigerme Park on the Turkish Aegean coast. From October 25th to November 1st, 2019, Mario finally made it to Turkey. Besides a full week of all-inclusive ROBINSON service, he also enjoyed a tennis camp with ROBINSON brand ambassador and top tennis expert Nicolas Kiefer. And what can we say? The Koblenz Open is Germany's largest men's indoor tennis tournament and will be held for the fourth time in 2020 as part of the ATP Challenger Tour . Tournament director Heiko Hampel is already deep into preparations for the tournament, which will take place from February 17th to 23rd, 2020, at the CGM Arena in Koblenz, and is highly motivated. Not only did nearly 10,000 spectators attend the 46,600-level Challenger event in 2019, but the newly launched tennis expo is also set to be a very special tournament highlight. We are delighted to be a tournament partner and tennis expo exhibitor!

Our lucky draw yesterday selected a very special travel scout: Nora, a former professional tennis player, is our Play&Relax travel scout for the Prokulus Tennis Hotel and can look forward to a fantastic short break in Naturns, South Tyrol, this November. Our travel scout Amrei had a tough choice to make in February: as our Mediterranean travel scout, she had to choose between a week at the Ali Bey Resort in Turkey or the Bluesun Grand Hotel Elaphusa tennis hotel on the island of Brač in Croatia. Both are wonderful destinations offered by Patricio Travel, who made this travel scout giveaway possible. On September 28, 2019, the PTR Tennis Coach Symposium with a parents' seminar took place in Reutte. It was a fantastic event with inspiring speakers, interesting topics, and a wonderful supporting program at the LechLife Tennis Hotel . In short, it was an extremely successful event, organized TennisTraveller. by host Andreas Gerstgrasser of the Pro Tennis School in Reutte and his team. I'm more than happy to share my short trip to Tyrol with you,
Anyone who decides to return to the professional tennis tour at almost 40 is either in the throes of a midlife crisis or wants to fulfill a seemingly absurd (life) dream. It was probably a combination of both that motivated Felix Hutt to go in pursuit of a world ranking point in 2018. His dream was to be listed in the ATP men's world rankings.
Off to the Ruhr area – that was the plan for our tennis family. A week-long tournament trip in and around Mülheim, a visit to the PMTR Tennis Academy, the ATP Challenger tournament in Meerbusch, participation in a tournament hosted by our cooperation partner dh tennis management , and a stay at the TennisTravellerHotel Kocks am Mühlenberg. So, in mid-August, we set off with a fully packed car and three motivated tennis kids, traveling halfway across Germany.
For the PTR Tennis Coach Symposium taking place on September 28, 2019, in Reutte, Austria, organizer Andreas Gerstgrasser has provided us with two vouchers for coaches . Top experts such as Herbert Schnaubelt, Ruben Neyens, Gerry Blum, Karsten Weigelt, and Kai-Uwe Gerber will share a wealth of knowledge in engaging presentations covering topics from training and competition practice, children's tennis, and even the flow state . But the symposium isn't just for coaches. In the morning, a parent seminar will be held concurrently with the symposium , addressing the triangular relationship between child, parent, and coach, as well as many other related topics.
