With the trunk full, we set off from Stuttgart at 8.30 a.m. towards Frankfurt - Neu Isenburg for the 4-day junior tennis camp at the Alexander Waske Tennis University . The first training session for our two tennis kids was supposed to start there at 1 p.m. We sped the 250 km north in a relaxed manner - surprisingly and happily, without any traffic jams. So we still had a good 1.5 hours at our destination, the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt, which we spent in the chic spa lounge.
Good things should be repeated - that's what we as a tennis family thought after the Easter tennis camp in March 2017 at the Schüttler-Waske Tennis Academy. And it didn't stop at thinking and so next week I will set off with two of our children in the direction of Offenbach, more precisely Frankfurt-Gravenbruch.
4 days of intensive training and, like on our last visit, you can follow everyday camp life via our camp diary - not quite live, but almost and with lots of sound, text and color!
At the end of September the time had come: Andreas, who had won our one-week research stay at the ROBINSON Club Djerba Bahiya , flew to the Tunisian island with his daughter. Was the stay for our two club testers a dream tennis vacation from 1001 Nights ? Of course, we don't want to withhold the beautiful travel report with some images from you. The two of them definitely had a great week and we’re really happy about that!
the TennisTraveller is traveling one stop further after the IsarOpen 2018 in Munich last August: we are really looking forward to being there as a tournament partner 22nd Challenger Eckental, the International German Indoor Championships
Tennis & wellness in the ROBINSON clubs - you don't really need to say anything more about this, right? Anyone who has ever been to a ROBINSON club knows the all-round, worry-free package that awaits you there. And not just in the wellness area. We still want to introduce you to the wellness offer in general, but also in particular. Why which wellness treatment is so good TennisTraveller This is the only way you know exactly what to expect and how you can make your tennis holiday perfect.
Tennis Brothers yet ? No? Then you'll be like me until the IsarOpen last August. Like our TennisTraveller tournament partners of the new ATP Challenger tournament at the TC Großhesselohe facility near Munich. Felix, 15 years old and Lucian, 12 years old - the two tennis brothers - spent the entire tournament week in Munich with their parents Liz and Michael, were able to gain insights into tournament life, but also spent a lot of time on the court with great sparring partners or with one another or spend another video shoot. I was able to meet the lovely tennis family from London and interview them about their activities and life as a very special TennisTraveller . And since dad Micheal is German, we also conducted the interview in German.
For the very first time, we as TennisTraveller family didn't have to go to the sea on our summer vacation. We chose the Tennis Hotel Brennseehof in Feld am See in Carinthia as our vacation destination and had a great week there with an ideal mix of relaxation and sports activities was only slightly dampened by the bad weather. So after a short cultural trip in Vienna, we all arrived at Brennsee very excited and were initially impressed by the great location of the hotel. The Brennseehof is only separated by a spacious lawn directly on the small Brennsee. The tennis courts and the lake wellness pavilion with various pools and outdoor saunas are also located in front of the hotel.
In the second part of our Tennis & Wellness special, we open the spa doors of the 5-star Hotel Andreus Golf & Spa Resort in St. Leonhard in South Tyrol. The hotel, or rather the extremely nice marketing manager Michaela, answered our interview questions together with the spa and wellness team.
When it comes to tennis and wellness at the Andreus Golf & Spa Resort in the Passeier Valley just above Meran, you have one thing in common: the fantastic panoramic view that will certainly delight you. The hotel and the two tennis courts are wonderfully integrated into the slope, so that you can enjoy the mountain panorama while being active on the tennis court as well as from one of the panoramic relaxation rooms or the panoramic sauna. And this “looking into the distance” definitely contributes to “coming down”:
Fresh, modern, innovative - simply different! This is the ISAR OPEN , which is taking place for the first time from 4th to 12th. ATP Challenger tournament held at TC Großhesselohe in Munich in August 2018 . And since we as TennisTraveller are also fresh, innovative, modern and different, we are delighted to be able to support the tournament as a tournament partner! #isarpartner
The first summer holiday camp of the PMTR Tennis Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr ended yesterday. Our winner of the summer holiday special, Thomas, was there with his two twin boys Felix and Toni. The boys were on the tennis court for 4 days with a lot of passion and motivation. We relaxed and spent the night at the TennisTraveller Hotel Kocks am mühlenberg . We captured a few camp photos for you as well as a few quotes from the boys.
