The 2019 tournament summer is heating up – and that includes TennisTraveller . In addition to the two ATP Challenger tournaments, the Schwaben Open in Augsburg and the Tennis Open Stadtwerke Meerbusch, also a tournament partner of the Borkum Open . This traditional tournament takes place on the East Frisian island of Borkum in the far north, from July 31st to August 10th, 2019. Incredibly, this "spa tournament" was first held back in 1899 – what a history! Christoph Damaske is the tournament director and is leading the tournament for juniors, adults, and seniors for the eighth time this year. What makes the tournament so special? "We have the world's most beautiful players' lounge – Borkum's main beach, just 100 meters from the courts," says Christoph.

TennisTraveller is a tournament partner of the 7th Tennis Open Stadtwerke Meerbusch . The ATP Challenger tournament, taking place from TennisTraveller 12th to 18th, 2019 in Büderich, has become one of the absolute tennis highlights in North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond in recent years. For example, the doubles careers of Roland Garros winners Andreas Mies and Kevin Krawitz began at this tournament in 2017 – they played together for the first time there. Fan favorite Dustin Brown, who won the doubles title at the tournament in 2015, has already confirmed his participation, much to the delight of tournament director Marc Raffel. Other renowned players also complete the strong field of participants. And we are thrilled to be a tournament partner!

Following its successful tournament debut last year under the Isar Open banner at TC Großhesselohe in Munich, the ATP Challenger tournament relocating this year. The organizing team, led by Alessandra Trenkle, will host the tournament from August 5th to 11th at the TC Augsburg facility in Siebentischwald . And in addition to the new venue, there's also a new tournament name: the Schwaben Open.
