Congratulations to Julia, who gets to travel to the beautiful Tennis Hotel Prokulus in Naturns, South Tyrol, as our Tennis & Wellness Travel Scout
This morning, the TennisTraveller lottery was in full swing and drew the winning Travelscout from among the many applications. It wasn't easy, as many people submitted fantastic applications through our website, Facebook, or Instagram, all vying to become the Tennis&Wellness Travelscout. Which we completely understand: 4 days at the Hotel Prokulus , plus MMP tennis training with the European Tennis Academy and a few other great perks – it's incredibly tempting!
Our second TennisTraveller lounge is currently located at the PMTR Tennis Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr . The first of four summer holiday tennis camps started there yesterday. Our winners of the summer holiday special also there, relaxing in our deck chairs.
Our new TennisTraveller deck chairs have now traveled halfway across Germany to the TC Overath-Heiligenhaus and are located there, along with our new drop flag, in the " TennisTraveller Lounge" at the TSF Aggertal Open 2018. From tomorrow until Sunday, the balls will be flying at the tournament for active players and seniors, with €5,000 in prize money up for grabs.
TennisTraveller this combination is as essential to a holiday as a tennis racket and a tennis ball.
One simply doesn't work without the other to make it perfect. That's precisely why the combination of tennis and wellness is one of our search criteria when TennisTraveller . Because for everyone who values wellness on holiday – and I admit I include myself in that group – it should be easy to quickly find hotels specializing in wellness.
Four days of summer camp at the PMTR Tennis Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr and four nights for two people at the Hotel Kocks - the two young talents are delighted!
Surprised and delighted – that was Thomas's reaction this morning when we delivered the good news that he, or rather one of his boys, was the winner of the PMTR and Hotel Kocks . Thomas entered the competition with a picture of his tennis-loving twins. And of course, both twins, and probably their dad himself, will be swinging a tennis racket at the camp. Tennis is simply a wonderful family sport!
Uwe Schumann and the entire PMTR Tennis Academy team have a real summer holiday special for you: 4 days of summer holiday tennis camp at the tennis academy plus 4 nights for 2 people at the Hotel Kocks am Mühlenberg in Mülheim in the heart of the beautiful Ruhr area
Perfect for your summer holiday planning, we are giving away a 4-day summer holiday tennis camp (including lunch) at the PMTR Tennis Academy of Uwe Schumann in Mülheim (value depending on the camp choice between €235 and €400) combined with a 4-day overnight stay for 2 people including breakfast (value €520) at the Ringhotel Kocks am Mühlenberg in the heart of the Ruhr area.
Now that's what I call a real summer holiday special! Pure action instead of boredom!
Tennis photographers – we all know them from tennis tournaments . Always "armed" with a camera, searching for the perfect shot. Here today, gone tomorrow – a TennisTraveller life of a special kind. But what does the "daily life" of a tennis photographer actually look like? That's what I was interested in finding out.
with Thomas Schulze, the tennis photographer from Magdeburg, in the "chirping" garden at the Forte Village Resort . Have a listen!
TennisTraveller is a recommendation and review portal for tennis hotels and tennis camps – we launched with this goal just 5 months ago. And it's been a huge success! Thanks to your fantastic support and help – because without it, our TennisTravellerphilosophy wouldn't work! We know that, and we want to say THANK YOU!
Together with the Golf & Spa Resort Andreus in St. Leonhard in South Tyrol, we are giving away a 3-day tennis camp with the Czech ex-tennis pro Karel Novacek worth 175 euros during the week of June 4th - 8th, 2018.

Dealing with criticism is a sensitive and important topic for us tennis players, both on and off the court. It's also an equally important topic for our TennisTravellerpartners – hoteliers and camp organizers. Given recent events, I'd like to briefly report on what I consider to be the exemplary way a tennis camp organizer handled negative criticism.
