Speed can be an art form on the tennis court. A fast-paced game demands concentration, balance, and discipline, along with a clear mind. When player and racket move as one, you can create art. HEAD is launching the redesigned SPEED 2024 racket series. With the SPEED, you play a fast game, and the court becomes your canvas. The SPEED 2024 racket offers players with a fast swing a softer and more sensational feel. The super-precise, real-time feedback creates a unity between player and racket—that's the true art of speed. The SPEED 2024 features a new, modern design with a special surface coating from a premium Swiss paint manufacturer, giving it a wonderfully soft feel.
At the end of 2023, we had a very special premiere: the first TennisTravelle Exclusive Camp . For me personally, this fulfilled a long-held wish to create a truly unique camp format. And what can I say? It was simply a fantastic event that thrilled the 12 participants from the first day to the last. Together with Markus Gentner , the former coach of Laura Siegemund and owner of the 4winners Tennis School near Stuttgart, I organized our inaugural camp at the Trans World Hotel Kranichhöhe in Much, near Cologne. During the four-day camp, the participants not only learned about numerous game-changers on and off the court, but also had the opportunity to extensively test the latest tennis rackets at the Wilson Demo Day . You can read all about what happened during the four days of the exclusive camp in my camp report. To give you a preview: the camp participants' feedback was overwhelmingly positive . This was fantastic for me, as we saw that the new camp format is incredibly appealing to TennisTraveller .

Christmas is especially special for athlete students: they fly or drive home to their families. Our daughter Mia is no exception, having returned home to Swabia for the holidays from her university, Francis Marion University (FMU) in Florence, South Carolina. In August of this year, our "big girl" headed off to the USA on a tennis scholarship right after graduating from high school. Her first big adventure! Today, we want to let Mia speak for herself. After overcoming the jet lag, she wrote a report for you about her first four months at college. We hope you enjoy reading it. And of course, we're making the most of our time together before it's time to head west again in early January 2024!
Wow – that was my very first thought when I saw the fantastic photos our two travel scouts, Hanna and Dani emailed me directly from the ROBINSON DJERBA BAHIYA MARA Open 2023 , answered our competition question correctly, and were drawn as the lucky winners. And then it was time to make travel plans. For these two top-league players, teammates, and friends, those plans quickly turned into a concrete tennis vacation plan. In October, they headed to Djerba for a week to extend their summer. The 7-day stay for two at the club, with the all-inclusive ROBINSON package, was completely included in the price.
wonderful photos and, above all, a super detailed travel report after their return , which was met with a second big "WOW." It was both of their very first time at a ROBINSON Club. So, a completely unbiased first-time holiday that was truly something special for the two of them, and not just on the tennis court. But the best thing to do is simply read the fantastic travel report yourself. It's definitely worth it, because it's pure tennis travel bliss !

As part of our padel special, we don't just want to introduce you to the most important things about equipment, technique, tactics, and court construction. We've already covered that in our three detailed blog posts. We also want to give our partners a chance to speak. Among them are several people who have been involved in the sport for a long time and can therefore offer valuable recommendations and expert insights. First up is Torsten Bonacker, Marketing Communications Manager at Dunlop . We asked him which padel products Dunlop manufactures, what personally fascinates him about the sport, and how he assesses the current padel boom in Germany. And finally, Torsten will present his "Best of Three" padel products.
We hope you enjoy these interesting and very personal padel insights!
In our 2022 Advent calendar, behind door number 20, we had hidden 4-day tennis camp at the PMTR Tennis Academy our autumn camp travel scout – perfectly timed for the start of the indoor season. Jens tells us exactly what daily life at PMTR was like in his detailed camp report. Like all reports from our travel scouts, we are more than happy to publish Jens's report as well. His report is particularly special because, as a player "of advanced tennis age (50+)," Jens really enjoyed training with the young players at the professional camp. He rose to the challenge, gave it his all, and draws a thoroughly positive conclusion from his "camp adventure." Thank you, Jens, for your feedback, and we wish you all the best and continued success!
