Located in the heart of the mountains, Bad Kleinkirchheim offers a variety of options: you can either head straight up into the stunning mountain scenery, enjoy a leisurely ride along panoramic trails, or descend towards the lakes. Choosing a tour here is anything but easy. I had the pleasure of interviewing Janine Ploner , who is responsible for marketing at the Post, about biking. She provided fascinating insights, from various tour suggestions to her own personal favorite. So, hop on your bike!

The second leg of our Tennis & Bike tour, part of our special feature "Tennis & Bike in Carinthia," takes us to the Parkhotel Pörtschach on Lake Wörthersee . This traditional hotel enjoys a unique peninsula location, boasting a truly exceptional ambiance, and not just because of its setting. The hotel's architecture beautifully blends 1960s charm with modern elements. Three clay courts are located right next to the hotel, where you can enjoy a great game. For cyclists, the hotel offers numerous amenities and a perfect base for all kinds of cycling tours. Sometimes things don't go as planned… and end up being so much better than expected. To be honest, absolutely wonderful! That sums up my 10 days with Patricio Travel at the International Wilson Open 2026 at the Ali Bey Club Manavgat, including a short trip to the Ali Bey Resort Sorgun. Instead of the planned MT1000 ITF senior tournament, I played an open tournament with fantastic singles and mixed doubles matches. Despite some unpredictable weather, the tournament organization was flawless and unfussy, and the international atmosphere was fantastic. All this at the World Class Racket Center with 59 tennis courts and a resort hotel that lacked (almost) nothing. Join me for a glimpse into my tennis tournament week in Turkey!

That's what a perfect tennis & biking holiday is all about!
Come along on our tennis & biking discovery tour!
His son, Jamie Mackenzie, has been making waves as a young professional tennis player for some time now and is considered one of Germany's best up-and-coming talents on the international tennis tour. Father Justin Mackenzie not only works as a coach for TC Rheinstadion Düsseldorf, but also manages and organizes his son's activities. Even before his son's career took off, Jamie was TennisTraveller , working in various capacities around the world. Tennis entrepreneur and NRW International tournament organizer Marc Raffel, who also organizes various tennis camps both domestically and internationally throughout the year and is a long-standing partner, had a long conversation with Jamie. They talked about New Zealand tennis, his son, his goals, and, of course, the current state and future of German tennis. Two true TennisTraveller in conversation!
Sometimes there are rackets where you know exactly what they're all about after just a few rallies. The HEAD Boom MP falls squarely into this category. Plenty of power, plenty of comfort – and that certain "easy playing" feel that immediately invites you to just start playing. The 2026 version of the Boom MP gets an update. The big question: Will it remain the familiar "fun racket" or will it now also appeal to more ambitious players? I received it from our partner Tennis Warehouse Europe for testing, played with it extensively in Mallorca during my preseason training, and summarized my experiences in the style of a classic playtest. Another round of "TRIPLE T - TennisTraveller tests".
Not only on the tennis court, but also in the saddle, everyone is currently working hard on their form for the season. Add to that mild temperatures from March well into October, warm lakes for swimming, action-packed adventures for adrenaline junkies, magical moments in nature, and irresistible Alpine-Adriatic cuisine. In our special feature, we present wonderful tennis hotels for cycling enthusiasts and show you exactly what cycling facilities each hotel offers, what you can expect on your bike around the hotel, and what you can look forward to. As always, varied, a little different, and full of highlights. Join us on our Tennis & Bike tour to Carinthia!

During my tournament week at the International Wilson Open 2026 at the Ali Bey Club Manavgat, I had a reliable and innovative companion with me – in my bottle before and during my matches. With the innovative electrolyte drink Orthomol Sport perform, I was able to replenish my electrolytes, B vitamins, and caffeine sip by sip. And it's so easy: tear open the sachet, pour the granules into your water bottle, add water, and you're done! It's especially practical and easy to take and prepare abroad, as good apple spritzer isn't always readily available. Even though the temperatures in Turkey weren't particularly high, I was always sweating, and it's important to replenish electrolytes and protect myself from fatigue and muscle exhaustion. Orthomol Sport perform, with its unique composition, makes a great contribution to this and tastes fantastic, in my opinion! It's the perfect nutritional supplement partner not only during tournaments but also during the sometimes very intensive preseason training! So recharge your energy tanks, and do it exactly when it's important and makes sense!
