In March, we were looking for a travel scout for the mental tennis camp at Pentecost, organized by Pro Tennis School in Reutte, Tyrol. Search – found: Detlef and his girlfriend Constanze were chosen as the travel scout for Austria, where they enjoyed a wonderful short tennis break. Detlef attended the mental tennis camp, and individual training was quickly arranged for Constanze.

“It was a fantastic week of tournament play,” summarized organizer Marc Raffel at the awards ceremony of the TVM Open by TeReMeer 2021, during the lively event. A major contribution to this success was undoubtedly made by the new TVM Open champion, Elmar Ejupovic (Wolfsburg), who prevailed in a high-class final against the top Belgian favorite, Michael Geerts, with a score of 7:6 and 6:2.

The 4th TVM Open by TeReMeer will take place from May 9th to 16th, 2021 in Troisdorf , and we're back again this year as a tournament partner! Who remembers last year's TVM Open? Due to the lockdown, the tournament was held as part of the Tannenhof German Men's Series and showcased world-class tennis. In the final, rising star Daniel Altmaier (GER) defeated German Davis Cup player Cedric Marcel Stebe (GER) in a high-quality match, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3.
Almost a year later, we as organizers are delighted to once again host the TVM Open by TeReMeer as part of the ITF World Tennis Tour, awarding ATP world ranking points. "Unfortunately, probably without spectators, but we are giving, especially for German tennis professionals, the opportunity to do their job and for sponsors to present themselves in a modern and digital way," says organizer Marc Raffel. "And it's not just tennis that benefits from any kind of engagement.".

The match point was the most fiercely contested and highest-class of the already top-level final of the Just Pools Kirschbaum International 2021 at the TeReMeer in Meerbusch. Arthur Cazaux (18), the French Australian Open Junior finalist from 2020, pushed his conqueror Alexander Erler (AUT, 23) to the limit; both collapsed onto their benches completely exhausted after Erler's 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 victory.
"It was an insane match at ATP Tour level," enthused organizer Marc Raffel afterwards.
