Appearance & Design
The HEAD travel bag comes in a new 2018 design. However, like its predecessor, it remains a subtle black. The bag gets a few design highlights from the silver HEAD logo, which is placed in different sizes across the bag. Orange decorative stitching and some anthracite-colored areas give the travel bag a rather stylish overall look.
Basic features & Trolley on the run
The material is 95% polyester - easy to care for, durable and easy to clean .
The telescopic handle is extremely smooth and adjustable to two positions. No rattling or snagging. As with the other bags, wheelsvery sturdy and well integrated into the solid base . We've been using the previous model for 1.5 years and can therefore confirm that the wheels are truly robust – they've already rolled up and down countless flights of stairs.
The travel bag's reinforced base providesexceptional stability, further enhanced by two additional plastic strips. Even when empty, a small stand on the bottom ensures the bag remains upright. Handles on both sides are particularly useful when stowing the bag in a car or lifting it onto airport conveyor belts. Two additional carrying handles, which can be fastened together with Velcro, are located at the top of the bag.
Size, dimensions and weight
The HEAD travel bag is the absolute space miracle among all the travel bags we tested. Its basic dimensions are: 77cm long, 40cm wide, and 44cm high. The travel bag boasts an impressive volume of 128 liters . Even empty, the bag weighs just over 4 kilos – when fully loaded, it adds up to a considerable weight.
Division
The HEAD Travelbag isn't just a marvel of space efficiency in terms of volume. Its internal organization makes it, in our opinion, the gold standard for travel bags. A major plus is the ability to load items from both sides. When you open the bag, you'll find mesh panels with different zippers on both sides.
On the right side (bottom) there is a large opening where clothing can be secured with an elastic band. However, if the bag is completely full, it is sufficient to close the lid with the zipper.
On the left side are two equally sized compartments, which can also be closed with a zipper.

The HEAD Tour Team Travelbag gets top marks from glatt. The bag's dual-sided loading capability, internal organization, and external pockets are all fantastic.
