MARA TeReMeer Spring Camp - the perfect pre-season training in Meerbusch

For those who shy away from the expense of a tennis camp in southern climes, the MARA TeReMeer spring camp the perfect alternative for a successful season preparation.

From April 16th to 19th, 2026, the outdoor clay courts of the Sport and Tennis Resort Meerbusch will be the ideal venue. Marc Raffel, certified sports instructor, DTB A-level coach, and former Bundesliga player, will lead the camp and will be supported by Karsten Focke, Stephan Frings, Stefan Reddemann (all certified sports instructors, among other qualifications), Ray Shimizu, Marvin Cosentino, and other experienced coaches.

In bad weather, the fantastic TeReMeer indoor tennis courts can be used.

 Camp schedule

  • Tennis training preferably in groups of 4: Training sessions start at 09:00, 10:30 and 12:00; free play is possible from 15:00 and 16:30.
  • Technical, tactical and match training.
  • Morning fitness (approx. 20 min.) and afternoon fitness (approx. 45 min.), including tennis-specific athletic training.
  • Daily workshop (approx. 30 min.) with topics related to tennis at lunchtime.
  • Lunch and dinner are available daily at the TeReMeer Bistro at your own expense.
  • Optional: joint visit to Düsseldorf's Old Town.
  • Each participant receives an exclusive camp T-shirt.
  • Stringing service available on-site in the Pro Shop.
  • Hotel recommendations: B&B Hotel Neuss, Mercure Kaarst, Hotel Landsknecht and Lindner Hotel Düsseldorf Seestern.

Basic training content for all age and performance levels (from hobby player to pro) includes technique, tactics, match training and fitness sessions.
