 The 95,000 m² Bernsteinsee (Amber Lake) is located in the municipality of Sassenburg in the district of Gifhorn, Lower Saxony, in the Southern Heath region, 18 kilometers north of Wolfsburg, directly on the Elbe Lateral Canal. The lake is known for its crystal-clear, turquoise water and a spacious sandy beach. Together with a fantastic hotel and a tennis facility that leaves nothing to be desired, it offers a truly special tennis holiday. 

 All camp offers at a glance

The tennis courts are just a short drive from the hotel. They're also easily accessible by bicycle. The cycle path along the Elbe Lateral Canal is perfect for this. Our modern indoor tennis center with three carpet courts and our four outdoor courts with Tennis Force®, a fantastic all-year-round clay surface, are the perfect place for tennis enthusiasts! In case of bad weather or extreme heat, we also play indoors during the summer. And since during the summer holidays 2- to 5-day tennis camps . Of course, you can also come as a team – you definitely won't be bored at Bernsteinsee.

• "Hit & Run"
  Saturday + Sunday, 1night, 5 hours of tennis, 4 of which are with a coach

• "Weekend"
  Saturday to Monday, 2 nights, 7 hours of tennis (4 hours with a coach) & 1 hour of stroke technique practice on the ball machine with "Baseline Vision" data analysis  (indoors)

• "Weekend Plus"
  Saturday to Tuesday, 3 nights, 11 hours of tennis (6 with a coach) & 1 hour of stroke technique practice on the ball machine with"Baseline Vision"data analysis (indoors)

• "Five Days"
  Saturday to Wednesday, 4 nights, 14 hours of tennis (8 with a coach) & 1 hour of stroke technique practice on the ball machine with  "Baseline Vision" data analysis (indoors)

Weather permitting, from March outdoor play In bad weather, training always takes place in the indoor tennis center.

 Your trainers

The tennis coaches have years of experience and hold a DTB B or C license. They passionately teach stroke technique, footwork, and tactics, all with a touch of humor. 

 Your camp hotel: the Bernstein Hotel by Palette Resorts

TheBernsteinsee Hotel by Palette Resortsis the ideal vacation spot for all tennis fans. Its enchanting beachfront location on Lake Bernsteinsee is a true paradise with a Caribbean feel, right in the heart of Lower Saxony! Tennis is, of course, the main focus, but you can also look forward to crystal-clear water and a wide range of leisure and sporting activities on the lake. The hotel is situated directly on the sandy beach and has 58 rooms, some with balconies and lake views. Numerous sporting activities await your discovery: water skiing, wakeboarding, beach volleyball, archery, mini-golf, horseback riding, a sauna with lake views, and a beach bar with a Caribbean atmosphere. There's also a fantastic restaurant with fair prices. Dog owners are welcome to bring their pets to the hotel for a fee. However, they must remain outside the tennis hall.

Alternatively, you can also arrive by campervan or find your own accommodation to suit your taste. All tennis packages can also be booked without overnight accommodation.
