And here we go with our 2018 travel bag test! First up is the Dunlop Performance Wheeley travel bag . We've taken a close look at it and are evaluating it based on various criteria. This is, of course, our subjective opinion. That's why we're definitely getting a second opinion – from you. Or rather, from one lucky TennisTraveller

Many thanks to Tennis-Point for providing us with this travel bag free of charge for testing and giveaway – we certainly made time for that! And now, let's get started with the description:
A quick note beforehand: unfortunately, you don't have much choice when it comes to travel bags on wheels; almost every manufacturer only offers them in a single color. A real shame...
The Dunlop travel bag comes in black, with the white Dunlop logo and two small turquoise accents adding a touch of color. Above the zipper, the bag features a gray strip containing the logo. Overall, it's certainly not a stylish eye-catcher, but it's definitely easy to care for and durable!
Sturdy and well-made – that's our first impression. The wheels are quite large, made of hard rubber, and securely anchored in the reinforced base. The base itself is reinforced with two struts throughout, so you can easily transport more delicate items inside the bag, such as your rackets.
The telescopic handle can be extended up to a maximum of 25 cm and moves easily up and down, without any "sticking" as we have experienced with other telescopic handles.
Two handles are sewn onto the top of the bag, making it easier to lift. Another very sturdy handle on the side opposite the telescopic pole is also quite helpful.
If the travel bag isn't completely full, you can adjust it using the two adjustable straps on the side. The click straps are also really handy for air travel, as they offer some protection for the zipper and provide added security.
The Dunlop travel bag is quite large! Its basic dimensions are approximately 45 cm wide, 80 cm long, and a maximum of 33 cm high. The stated volume is 113 liters – so you can really pack a lot into this bag. Empty, the bag weighs just under 3.5 kg.
The bag can be opened halfway down with a wraparound zipper. The zipper appears sturdy and of good quality. The bottom of the travel bag is one large compartment. Packing items can be secured with elastic straps in the middle. It would be even more practical if the straps were spaced further apart – then they could cover the entire packing area.
On the other side, the travel bag is divided into three compartments: two smaller compartments and one larger compartment in the middle can be loaded separately – each can be closed with a mesh flap using a zipper.
The travel bag has a single zippered pocket on the outside, which can hold, for example, 2-3 books and small items. Not too small, but of course not very spacious either.

The Dunlop travel bag makes a really good impression! A clear advantage is that the bag opens up. This makes organizing the contents relatively easy and straightforward, so you don't have to completely empty the bag every time you travel. The dimensions are also cleverly chosen, making the bag a small space miracle that will surely be a great companion on your tennis trips!
