Tennis is a major focus at TUI MAGIC LIFE Clubs. Which clubs offer TennisTraveller perfect tennis conditions?

We have several clubs that focus on tennis and, increasingly, padel. Good examples include the TUI MAGIC LIFE Cala Pada in Ibiza, the TUI MAGIC LIFE Jacaranda and TUI MAGIC LIFE Masmavi in ​​Turkey, and the TUI MAGIC LIFE Plimmiri in Rhodes. Our Italian club, TUI MAGIC LIFE Calabria, is a true highlight. There, our guests can enjoy six clay courts and five artificial turf courts with quartz sand.  What training programs are available for which skill levels and age groups?

There's something for everyone. From group courses for beginners, intermediates, advanced, and professionals. The courses are all-inclusive, and you'll quickly meet new people and playing partners. Kids and teens aren't left out either. Kids' and teens' courses are offered in two skill levels: beginner and advanced. In addition to group courses, our guests can also book private lessons for a fee. Since equipment can be rented on-site, the tennis courts are also available outside of lesson times for spontaneous, exciting matches with friends or family.

Furthermore, many tennis groups frequent our clubs and take advantage of our facilities to prepare for the season, for example, by enjoying the sunshine. For a small fee, groups can reserve courts in advance, allowing them to plan their training sessions effectively. Arrangements can also be made with the coaches on site, enabling groups to utilize our training program.  What criteria do you use to select your coaches, and how does the coach qualification process work?

That actually varies quite a bit. We generally look for our coaches worldwide, and especially in Germany, we regularly hold auditions to find new coaches. It's very important that tennis coaches at TUI MAGIC LIFE have a certain entertainment value and are rather extroverted so they can easily connect with our guests. We also look at coaching experience, as the requirements for the coach change depending on the training group. Particularly in our clubs, the coaches are constantly working with different groups of guests, requiring them to address each individual's needs while simultaneously ensuring a certain level of quality in the lessons. A certain level of experience is therefore essential.

 What other racket sports do you offer?

In addition to tennis, some of our clubs also offer the opportunity to play padel and pickleball. Padel courts are available at TUI MAGIC LIFE Candia Maris, TUI MAGIC LIFE Marmari Palace, and TUI MAGIC LIFE Masmavi, while pickleball enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy at TUI MAGIC LIFE Belek and TUI MAGIC LIFE Redsina Sharm el Sheikh. I play tennis myself and used to play in many tournaments. These days I don't have as much time to train, so I'm taking it easier. However, I've caught the padel bug. I can definitely imagine giving it my all again.
