As part of our sponsorship of the METZINGEN OPEN 2025, we were looking for a travel scout for the ROBINSON PAMFILYA near Side in Turkey. With Astrid, we found a truly wonderful travel scout. She and her tennis buddy had the opportunity to explore the club for us for a week in late autumn. And as enthusiastic tennis players, the two of them spent many hours on the nine quartz sand courts. "Tennis, enjoyment & warmth – a perfect week at the ROBINSON PAMFILYA" – that's how Astrid's travel report begins. But now, read for yourselves what these two tennis ladies experienced. We received an extremely warm welcome at the club. Many thanks to Kerim, the Front Office Manager. We booked our first tennis court for the very next day. Booking courts via the app worked flawlessly throughout our stay – uncomplicated, quick, and reliable. Tennis was on the agenda every day, and the conditions couldn't have been better: The nine quartz clay courts were in excellent condition and beautifully situated in a large pine forest, which not only creates a wonderful atmosphere but also offers pleasant shade.
A real highlight was the tennis bar: the girls there were always friendly, attentive, and in great spirits. There was always something to drink – and the club coach even provided two bottles of sparkling wine once, which we, of course, used to properly toast our holiday win after the match 🍾😉.
We really took full advantage of everything the tennis facilities had to offer – including an evening of tennis under floodlights (three of the courts have floodlights), which created a very special atmosphere. No matter what question we had, the entire team was always approachable, helpful, and extremely courteous. It couldn't have been better.
Off the court, the club left nothing to be desired. Club owner Trudi was incredibly warm and dedicated – she even performed on stage herself during the shows. The evening entertainment was varied, the food consistently excellent, and the drinks outstanding. A particular culinary highlight was the weekly specialty evening at the traditional restaurant "Kuyu," which we highly recommend.
A nice bonus: We happened to sit at a table with Henning Fritz, who was running a handball camp at the same time, and his wife – a great experience. In general, we met many nice, open people and felt completely at ease from the first day to the last.
A truly fantastic week, filled with daily tennis, superb organization, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, and wonderful encounters. The ROBINSON Club Pamfilya comes highly recommended for all tennis players who want to combine sport, enjoyment, and camaraderie at a high level. We'd love to come back! 🎾☀️
