The PMTR Tennis Academy in Mülheim an der Ruhr has been a performance-oriented tennis academy in the heart of the Ruhr area for more than 20 years, under the direction of Uwe Schumann.
Since its founding, it has developed into one of the leading academies far beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia and is constantly growing. It currently trains 400 players at three locations. The secret to its success is its holistic development concept, which leads from toddler tennis for children as young as four in its own SIT children's tennis program, through the PMTR performance program, all the way to high-performance tennis. The academy also places particular emphasis on athleticism: every tennis training session is therefore combined with an athletic training session.
Furthermore, PMTR organizes national and international tournaments, tennis camps for all skill levels and age groups, tournament trips, workshops, and webinars throughout the year. From ball school camps for the youngest players to champ camps for competitive tennis players, there's something for everyone. After-work camps are also available.
