Halfway through our TennisTraveller travel bag test 2018: today we're presenting the third of five travel bags. Introducing the Wilson Tour Traveller travel bag . We've taken a close look at this bag and evaluated it based on various criteria. This is our subjective opinion, of course. That's why we're definitely getting a second opinion – from you. The Wilson Tour Traveller is the new 2018 model . The base color is a stylish dark anthracite. The red Wilson logo, along with some red zippers and decorative stitching, provides a colorful accent. Opening the bag reveals a completely red interior.
Even though the travel bag isn't exactly a colorful showstopper, it's not "just" black, but stands out somewhat from the Dunlop and Yonex .
The material has a slightly roughened and very soft feel , but still makes a very durable impression.
The telescopic handle extends in two steps up to a maximum of 30 cm at the touch of a button – it operates smoothly, quietly, and without any issues. The rubber wheels are well integrated into the hard, continuous base of the travel bag. The base of the bag is reinforced by two plastic strips, ensuring that clubs can be transported without any problems. On the opposite side of the telescopic handle, a sturdy plastic grip provides a convenient way to lift the bag or move it around.
The bag has two carrying handles that can be fastened together with Velcro – this allows the bag to be lifted and carried by the handles. When placed on its side with the wheels, the bag stands perfectly upright on its reinforced base, even when empty, and won't tip over.
The Wilson travel bag is quite large. Its basic dimensions are: 84 cm long, 38 cm wide, and 38 cm high. The volume of the travel bag 121 liters . The bag weighs 4 kg empty – however, it feels much heavier when I lift it.
Wilson really put some thought into the bag's layout. Starting with the shoe compartment and the small outer pocket attached to the long side of the bag.
Inside the bag, two removable dividers allow you to quickly create more or less order depending on the amount of luggage. The dividers can be attached or removed with Velcro – it's really very convenient! However, I don't know how well the Velcro fasteners will hold up over time and whether they might lose their grip.
mesh pocket covers the entire surface and can be used, for example, for small odds and ends or dirty laundry.

The Wilson Tour Traveller almost gets our highest rating. We especially love the flexible internal organization options and the bag's stylish color. It loses half a TennisTraveller due to the somewhat stiff zippers and its rather hefty price tag – so it's fortunate that Tennis-Point offers a substantial discount.
