The Koblenz Open is Germany's largest men's indoor tennis tournament be held for the fourth time in 2020 as part of the ATP Challenger Tour February 17th to 23rd, 2020, at the CGM Arena in Koblenz, and is highly motivated. Not only did nearly 10,000 spectators attend the 46,600-level Challenger event in 2019, but the newly launched tennis expo is also set to be a very special tournament highlight. Our travel scout Amrei had a tough choice to make in February: as our Mediterranean travel scout, she had to choose between a week at the Ali Bey Resort in Turkey or the Bluesun Grand Hotel Elaphusa tennis hotel on the island of Brač in Croatia. Both are wonderful destinations offered by Patricio Travel , who made this travel scout giveaway possible. On September 28, 2019, the PTR Tennis Coach Symposium with a parents' seminar place in Reutte. It was a fantastic event with inspiring speakers, interesting topics, and a wonderful supporting program at the LechLife Tennis Hotel . In short, it was an extremely successful event, organized host Andreas Gerstgrasser of the Pro Tennis School TennisTraveller .
Anyone who decides to return to the professional tennis tour at almost 40 is either in the throes of a midlife crisis or wants to fulfill a seemingly absurd (life) dream. It was probably a combination of both that motivated Felix Hutt to go in pursuit of a world ranking point in 2018. His dream was to be listed in the ATP men's world rankings.
Off to the Ruhr area – that was the plan for our tennis family. A week-long tournament trip in and around Mülheim, a visit to the PMTR Tennis Academy , the ATP Challenger tournament in Meerbusch , participation in a tournament hosted by our cooperation partner dh tennis management , and a stay at the TennisTraveller Hotel Kocks am Mühlenberg . So, in mid-August, we set off with a fully packed car and three motivated tennis kids, traveling halfway across Germany.
