Small but powerful - this applies perfectly to the TRIGGIN trigger button . It also suits us TennisTraveller because it is small, can be taken anywhere and anytime and is absolutely easy to use. And now the most important thing: the trigger button can really provide relief from painful tension And unfortunately we have that far too often, right? The trigger button is a kind of “Physio-to-Go” and is therefore worth its weight in gold, and not just when traveling. We took a closer look at the trigger button and the startup behind it, TRIGGin, known from the lion's den, for you. Of course, we also tested the trigger button ourselves and will tell you whether we are now completely relaxed!
And last but not least, we also want to get you to trigger and hopefully "relax" and consisting of two trigger buttons and a roll of tape until November 1st, 2023 So you can test how the little button works for you!

The causes often lie in incorrect or excessive strain, as occurs daily in work, leisure, and sports. Any activity, regardless of type, is performed by the muscles. This involves muscle tension, which is usually followed by a relaxation phase. However, if this relaxation phase is omitted, blood flow is reduced, and the supply of nutrients and oxygen is no longer adequately ensured.
The result is increased tension points in the muscles, known as myogelosis or myofascial trigger points. These trigger points are changes in the connective tissue . Individual fibers become stuck together, causing the tissue to lose its natural elasticity. This, in turn, activates the surrounding pain receptors. This leads to a vicious chain reaction: Pain causes people to adopt protective postures and compensatory movements, which in turn lead to muscle shortening and restricted movement, resulting in further strain and overload of the adjacent structures...
Ultimately, not only is the originally affected structure impaired in its function (and painful), but all adjacent muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints are also negatively affected. Since trigger points are one of the most common causes of chronic musculoskeletal pain, it is important to treat them and get rid of them as quickly as possible. However, because the body is unable to release these adhesions on its own, this is where the TRIGGin trigger point button comes into play.
The TRIGGin trigger point button is placed on the pain point using elastic (physiological) tape, thus combining trigger point treatment with taping – the first tool of its kind. A truly helpful tool for relieving tension in everyday life!

Perhaps you've already heard of it? Since its market launch in December 2021, it has been presented at several trade fairs, such as Therapie München/Leipzig/Düsseldorf and Therapro in Stuttgart. The team also appeared with the trigger button on the VOX startup show "Die Höhle der Löwen" (The Lion's Den) and successfully secured a deal with Ralf Dümmel and Carsten Maschmeyer.
The TRIGGin is incredibly useful for you as TennisTraveller, as you can apply it yourself to most parts of your body. Simply locate the annoying trigger point (you'll feel the muscle tightness) and apply the trigger button to it using the tape, keeping it taut. Of course, you can also hand it to your trusted physiotherapist and combine the application with a professional taping session. This doesn't make the physiotherapist redundant, but rather complements their therapy beyond the confines of their practice.
Since the small button can be disinfected and reused after use, you'll get a lot of use out of it.
Until now, trigger point treatment has relied on conventional methods that are subject to a timeframe prescribed by the therapist. In contrast, you can wear the TRIGGin for up to 24 hours and continue training, showering, sleeping, or working as normal. The pressure applied to the trigger point is maintained throughout the entire wearing time, thus potentially leading to lasting therapeutic success.

The TRIGGin offers an excellent way to trigger muscle activation even on active muscles, without any limitations. While an epicondylitis brace for tennis elbow is designed exclusively for this area, the TRIGGin has a much broader range of applications. Top athletes from various disciplines have come to appreciate this. The small company has already established partnerships with the Frankfurt Galaxy (American football), HC Erlangen (handball), and other ski, basketball, and boxing clubs have expressed interest. Runners, triathletes, and, last but not least, soccer players are also integrating this small tool into their daily training routines.
Here's an example of application on the arm. You can find further application examples and tutorials showing various self-application methods on the TRIGGin website .
"TRIGGin intense," was released this year . This version penetrates even deeper into the muscle and is specifically designed for deep-seated tension, such as in the back. With this, TRIGGin is now tackling a widespread everyday ailment. In mid-November, the product portfolio will also be expanded mini massage gun
So we can be curious to see what else is lurking in the minds of this young start-up!
Trigger point therapy is nothing new to us, meaning my husband and me: both at the physiotherapist with various pressure devices and at home, we regularly use trigger point therapy on our back, shoulders, and knees. We didn't need any convincing about the effectiveness of trigger point therapy. So we were very curious to see how the small TRIGGin device works and how its effects compare to what we've experienced before.
Our impressions after the first few uses:

We will gladly use the trigger button for all kinds of tension, as it can be used over a longer period and thus unfold its effect gently. In our opinion, it is ideal for tension. A real helper in times of tension distress!
