That way, you know exactly what's in it and avoid those sugary supermarket treats. Have fun preparing it, even more fun eating it, and best of luck on the court!
Ingredients for approximately 1200 grams of muesli
- 70g sesame seeds
- 70g pumpkin seeds
- 70g sunflower seeds
- 200g of tender rolled oats
- 200g rolled oats
- 150g hazelnuts (roasted and peeled)
- 100g coconut chips
- 5g cinnamon
- 110 g agave syrup
- 60g maple syrup
- 2 grams of salt
- 110g olive oil
- 2 grams of vanilla
preparation
- Cover pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds with water in a bowl, stir, and let stand.
- Mix rolled oats, hazelnuts, coconut and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Heat agave syrup, maple syrup, and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until small bubbles form, then remove from the heat and add olive oil and vanilla, stirring again.
- Place the grain mixture in a sieve, rinse it, and let it drain well. Add it to the oat mixture, then add the olive oil mixture and stir everything well.
- Place the mixture onto two baking sheets lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (top and bottom heat) for approximately 1 hour. Stir every 20 minutes and swap the baking sheets if necessary.
Tips
This goes well with fruit, milk, yogurt, or coconut milk (or a mixture of both), and dried fruit such as figs, dates, cranberries, etc., if desired. Of course, you can also omit the coconut or use other nuts – there are no culinary limits to your creativity and taste! Simply change it up every now and then to keep it interesting and give it a slightly different flavor each time.
The granola will keep for several weeks. It's important that it's stored in an airtight container.
