 Why is Carinthia a wonderful holiday region for tennis-loving and active families?

Carinthia is a fantastic holiday region for tennis-loving families, offering a perfect blend of sport, nature, and relaxation. Thanks to Bad Kleinkirchheim's ideal altitude, you won't break a sweat playing even in the height of summer. Carinthia is also easily and quickly accessible by car or public transport.

 Which excursion destinations or activities in the vicinity of your hotel should active families not miss?

• Brunnach with adventure park : Located right next to the Brunnach cable car mountain station in St. Oswald at an altitude of 2000 meters. Wooden playground, barefoot path, pond with rafts, …
• Falkertsee with Heidi Alm : Visitors of all ages are transported into the world of Heidi and Peter. And everyone enjoys the breathtaking scenery of the beautiful mountain landscape.
• Feld am See Alpine Wildlife Park : Observe deer, wild boar, raccoons, and Highland cattle up close.
  There's a petting zoo with rabbits, ducks, goats, chickens, and more, as well as two museums: one about Africa and another a fantastic fish museum. Of course, there are plenty of rest areas along the trails, and a playground for the kids.
• Granatium Radenthein : An interactive visitor center in the neighboring town of Radenthein, dedicated to the gemstone garnet, which has been found in the Nockberge mountains for centuries. It is particularly exciting for families, offering an interactive exhibition, a show mine, and a treasure hunt with garnet panning.
• Sagamundo "House of Storytelling" in Döbriach : A fairy tale and adventure center where families can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of Carinthian legends, myths, and fairy tales. Spread across three floors, visitors encounter over 30 mythical creatures and stories, presented in a creative way. Films and audio stations bring the stories to life, and 3D glasses allow visitors to solve exciting puzzles.

 Where did you particularly enjoy going to in Carinthia as a child and teenager?

My number one place in my youth was the tennis club in Bad Kleinkirchheim. I was there practically every day in the summer.

 What are you doing with your children today? Is there a special favorite place or activity in your family?

We share a great passion: skiing together! We especially love making our tracks through the deep snow in the hollow below the Imperial Castle.
