Fans of Angelique Kerber, Ashleigh Barty, Naomi Osaka, and the tour's top stars can watch all ATP 250, ATP 500, and ATP 1000 tournaments, as well as the WTA Finals, live on the Tennis Channel . The tour kicked off its 2022 season with the WTA 500 event in Adelaide on January 3. "We are delighted to extend our partnership with the WTA to the DACH region and the Netherlands, adding to the growing group of countries outside the US where fans can watch our dedicated regional Tennis Channels," said Ken Solomon, President of Tennis Channel. “Since the channel’s founding almost two decades ago, we have always prepared for global expansion. We have developed tennis in the highly competitive American market and now look forward to bringing this model to other countries,” Solomon continued.
Tennis Channel and the WTA have a long-standing media partnership. The channel has broadcast women's tennis every year since its debut in May 2003. Since 2019, the TV channel and its US-based streaming platform, Tennis Channel Plus, have been the exclusive home of the WTA Tour for American tennis fans. Tennis Channel not only provides viewers with more live and on-demand women's tennis than ever before, but also highlights these outstanding athletes with dedicated streaming channels (e.g., a Serena Williams channel featuring archived matches of hers). The platform supports these athletes in raising their profile and pursuing interests off the court.
Every year, WTA players appear in digital series like "My Tennis Life," interacting with viewers on air, online, and via social media. For years, the channel has also included active players recovering from injury as analysts and interviewers in its on-air team; in Germany, this has included Sabine Lisicki, among others. Now, the WTA and Tennis Channel are expanding this offering to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

Tennis Channel International streams all WTA Tour tournaments live. The approximately 800 matches per year are available via the digital subscription service, as well as selected live matches on Tennis Channel Germany and a FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus. Tennis Channel also plans to expand to other streaming platforms. The regional German Tennis Channel has a partnership with the German Tennis Federation.
