For us TennisTraveller so important , yet most neglect them. It's only when wrist problems arise or tennis elbow sets in that the hand and forearm muscles are addressed. We've tested the new Reflexit forearm trainer and want to introduce it to you today. It truly delivers significant results in strengthening forearm muscles and improving wrist mobility! This will give you more strength and mobility and reduce your risk of injury. In this article, you'll learn what the Reflexit is all about, how it works, how it can help you, how it was developed, and the company behind it. In addition to an in-depth interview with Adrian Göldner, one of the two founders from Bonn, there's also my own personal experience – after all, you have to test things yourself before presenting and recommending them!
So that you can gain more punching power with better forearm muscles!
Interview with Adrian Göldner • Experience report
Reflexit is a forearm trainer that strengthens the muscles around the wrist and elbow. A simple, opposing twisting motion of the hands activates the forearm muscles, restoring stability, mobility, and flexibility to wrists that are usually held rigidly in everyday life.

Since every body has different characteristics, it's important to state upfront that we cannot guarantee that Reflexit will generally help with wrist and elbow health. However, strong and mobile forearm muscles stabilize the wrist and elbow, which is why our users report that it provides support for their wrist and forearm pain.
The classic symptoms our customers experience are tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, or wrist pain. Generally, training with the Reflexit also helps with stiffness in the wrist or forearm muscles.
Sharp pains often occur, especially when hitting a backhand, because the forearm muscles are too weak, causing the joint to absorb almost all the force. In everyday life, we rarely strengthen the eccentric (lowering) movement of the forearm, creating a weak point in tennis. By training this weak point, we can prevent pain and injuries. Generally, the problem isn't playing tennis itself, which often causes wrist or elbow pain, but rather everyday activities. In office jobs, we often keep our wrists very stiff while working with a mouse and keyboard. Because the joint and muscles aren't trained through their full range of motion, a quick, unfamiliar movement (like in tennis) can frequently trigger pain or injury.
Reflexit strengthens the forearm muscles, enabling them to absorb more impact during play, which would otherwise be done by the joints. It also increases wrist mobility, allowing the wrist to react more readily to unfamiliar movements.
Over the three years of development, we conducted numerous tests with volunteers. Building forearm muscle is a marathon, not a sprint. Nevertheless, both the volunteers and our customers report that improvements typically occur after 4-8 weeks. In exceptional cases, even after 2 weeks – much depends on overall physical condition and muscle strength. Regular training is crucial. Starting with 2-5 minutes every 2-3 days is perfectly sufficient.
My co-founder, Fovad, founded Delta Personal Training Studio in Bonn many years ago. During the pandemic, many of his clients switched from the office to working from home and suddenly experienced wrist pain due to the different desk heights and other equipment. Fovad then remembered his time on the national kickboxing team. They had a device consisting of a stick, a string, and a weight at the bottom. This weight was then cranked up and down. He recreated this device in his studio and had his clients try it out. After two to three weeks, their wrist pain was significantly reduced.
Then he called me, and since I'm an online marketer, I looked up how many monthly Google searches "wrist pain" gets. And then we launched the project 😃. You can find the interview about its origins on YouTube .

There are two of us, and we occasionally have support from freelancers. Our biggest challenge right now is actually increasing our profitability. Currently, we're generating revenue, but almost no profit, because our marketing and production costs (made in Germany) are very high. We're currently working on ways to encourage customers to order two Reflexits at once.
Initially, we had the problem of not being able to find a manufacturer. We contacted almost 100 prototype manufacturers, but as a start-up, we were simply too small for them. After that, we had considerable difficulty ordering the right materials, as they too were prioritizing fulfilling large orders.
As things stand, we plan to enter the retail market in late spring next year. Once that's successful, we'd like to develop more products that help people. We'd also like to collaborate more with influencers
Writing about things is one thing. But we belong to the kind of writers who prefer to try out what they write about themselves, to have firsthand experience with it. While these experiences are naturally subjective, they will certainly be interesting and valuable for some of you. In our tennis-loving family, we currently have quite a few different uses for the Reflexit: as a computer user, I have rather stiff wrists and use the Reflexit for mobilization and general strengthening; our daughter uses it to work on her grip strength; and our son, after tendonitis in his wrist, has very carefully started his rehabilitation with it.

My personal conclusion: the Reflexit really packs a punch. When you start twisting, you think: "Oh, this is easy." But as is so often the case, the difficulty and the added value lie in the number of repetitions. And with that, all three springs quickly make themselves felt in the forearm muscles. The recommended two minutes of total training time is definitely not insignificant. Interestingly, after the first few workouts, I actually had sore hand muscles the next day. I also found the training tip to perform the exercises in an upright upper body position very important. This really prevents negative effects on the shoulder and neck muscles. So, even though you can theoretically train with the Reflexit on the sofa, you should still sit properly ;-). A truly great tool that is affordable at €79 and can certainly help many people prevent injuries or support their recovery!
