We asked Erland a few questions about the beautiful tennis hotel on Lake Brennsee. My name is Erland Palle, and I am part of the owning family and the managing director of Brennseehof. The family-run sports resort "BRENNSEEHOF ****s" is now in its third generation of family ownership by the Palle family. The resort combines family experiences, sports, wellness, and culinary delights in perfect harmony. Idyllically nestled among the Nock Mountains, directly on the picturesque Brennsee lake in the heart of Carinthia, it is the perfect holiday home for active families. The hotel offers 12 on-site tennis courts – most of them right by the lake – as well as the Krainer Tennis & Sports School located on the hotel grounds. Thanks to the sports school located on the hotel grounds, guests can not only participate in various sports such as biking and a wide range of water sports (SUP, canoeing, sailing, surfing, etc.) but also learn them professionally. Furthermore, the surrounding Nockberge mountains offer ideal conditions for jogging, Nordic walking, and hiking. We also offer fitness classes such as abs, legs, and glutes workouts, Smovey training, Pilates, yoga, archery, and more.
Carinthian cuisine offers many specialties, but the Carinthian Kasnudel, the Sterz, the yellow soup with Reindling, the Ritschert and of course various typical flour-based dishes should definitely not be missing
There are many – depending on the purpose or time of year. In winter, there are various beautiful mountain spots (the Nockberge mountains, in particular, offer a wealth of options). In the summer months, the various clearings along the Rudolf-Greinz-Weg trail between our two lakes are simply magical and true places of power.
