The professional PMTR Tennis Academy, under the direction of Uwe Schumann, is one of the leading academies far beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia. Uwe Schumann and his 15-member coaching and support team look after approximately 250 players. Their recipe for success is a holistic development concept that leads from toddler tennis for children as young as four in the SIT children's tennis program, through the PMTR performance program, all the way to elite tennis. Furthermore, the PMTR Academy organized 15 tournaments for all age groups throughout 2018.
Depending on age, the daily camp training program consists of 4 hours for small-court players, 5 hours for team and tournament players, and 6 hours for competitive players. The structured camp day begins in the morning with warm-up and tactical training. After a supervised lunch break, the afternoon program includes serve practice, opening plays, tactical match training, and recovery.
Small lectures (especially in the performance area) on the topics of mental aspects of tennis, nutrition, training and tournament planning, annual planning (competitive players) and regeneration round off the program.
We cover the costs for a 4-day summer holiday tennis camp. These costs – depending on whether you choose a mini-camp, a camp for team and tournament players, or for competitive players – are €235, €300, or €400 respectively.
So that you can relax in a good bed during the camp, we are giving away 4 overnight stays for 2 people including breakfast in the 4**** Ringhotel KOCKS am mühlenberg , which is a hotel partner of the PMTR Tennis Academy.
