The start of my very own tournament journey, My Road to Manavgat, reach its first highlight at the 23rd International Wilson Masters Open at the Ali Bey Club Manavgat Patricio Travel , I'll be flying to Turkey on March 20, 2026, to participate in the prestigious MT1000 senior tournament. Of course, tennis will be the main focus. But the various side events and leisure activities at the club promise a wonderful week of tennis. And naturally, there will be many enjoyable and interesting conversations and encounters with other tournament participants, club staff, and Patricio Travel employees. I'm already incredibly excited! Perhaps some of you might also be interested in participating in the tournament? I'll tell you what to expect in today's blog post. And I'm sure that the week itself will be even better than expected and described!
International Wilson Masters Open will be held for the 23rd time this year at the end of March. Last year, 550 players from over 40 nations competed in the tournament. Up to 250 exciting matches were played each day in the categories of singles, singles bonus draw, doubles, and mixed doubles, across age groups from 30+ to 95+. A true tennis spectacle! A total of €11,600 in prize money is up for grabs in the singles categories. On top of that, there are also fantastic prizes and travel vouchers.
The tournament is classified as MT1000, the highest tournament category, so very good players will be competing and exciting matches are expected. The draw for the singles competitions will take place on March 22nd. The mixed doubles matches will then start on Monday, March 23rd. The doubles and mixed doubles competitions will be drawn and scheduled on Monday. I will be competing in the women's 50+ singles and the mixed doubles in the 50+ age group.
Incidentally, at the end of last year the tournament was awarded the ITF's Tournament Recognition Award in the MT1000 tournament category for the second time. This award is given to tournaments that distinguish themselves through exceptional player satisfaction and outstanding organization.

During the tournament week, in addition to pure tennis, there are various side events. It all kicks off with the Welcome Event featuring show acts and cocktails. The festive gala dinner, held in a stunning setting by the pool, is sure to be a highlight of the tournament week. The week then concludes on Sunday with a beautifully presented awards ceremony .
