The Sani Resort is located 70 kilometers from Thessaloniki Airport on the Kassandra peninsula , the westernmost "finger" of the Greek islands. The Sani Beach is located directly on the seafront and is a multi-story hotel with a total of 392 rooms – the vibrant heart of the Sani Resort. The Sani Asterias, with 57 rooms, is situated at the entrance to the small marina and features very exclusive suites offering plenty of privacy, yet it's perfect for families. The Porto Sani, with 99 rooms, is located, as the name suggests, at the marina and is set back slightly from the sea, but is close to the tennis courts.
The Sani Dunes is located east of the marina, seamlessly blending the central resort life with the beach. It boasts 146 rooms and is home to one of the resort's finest spas. The Sani Club, with its 253 rooms, lies slightly east of the main resort and marina and is a small holiday paradise in its own right. The bungalows are ideal for families and offer plenty of privacy – perfect for those seeking a quieter experience. For tennis players, the Sani Club is the furthest away, but it can be reached in just a few minutes via the shuttle bus, which runs every 15-20 minutes.
No matter which hotel you stay in - all rooms, suites and bungalows are absolutely luxurious, chic and elegantly furnished, without feeling uncomfortable.
Since April 2019, the Sani Resort has offered a very special highlight: it's a location of the Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy. From April to October, you can on a total of eight clay courts using the training concept of the Mallorcan superstar and his world-famous academy. Whether you're young or old, beginner or pro, the Sani Resort's coaching team knows exactly how to improve your tennis skills with plenty of motivation and fun – after all, you're on vacation! Various tennis packages are available for adults, teenagers, and children . Court rental costs €30 per hour, or €90 for 90 minutes. Tennis rackets can be borrowed free of charge.
In addition to the Tennis Academy, there's also a aged 4-16, run in partnership with the Chelsea FC Foundation, Scuba Diving Academy offering PADI courses (for ages 12 and up). The Biking Academy lets you rent all kinds of bikes or join one of the guided bike tours into the beautiful hinterland, which take place twice a week. You can look forward to riding a KTM bike or a fat bike.
For water sports enthusiasts, the doors of the Water Ski and Sailing Academy open. They offer interesting courses with professional instructors.
Basically, everything offered in the academies and intensive courses is also available in smaller portions. You have all the options here. The rest of the sports program includes fitness classes of all kinds, a guided morning jogging program, all kinds of water sports, and forest hikes. And for those who enjoy wildlife, there are birdwatching tours.
Each of the five exclusive hotels boasts an equally exclusive wellness and spa center, always equipped with an indoor pool and a fitness room. A variety of saunas, jacuzzis, steam rooms, whirlpools, hairdressers, and beauty treatments are available, along with plenty of chill-out areas and opportunities to simply unwind.
I don't think we need to mention at this point that the wellness and beauty treatments in this resort naturally come with a very exclusive price tag.
The entire resort boasts an impressive 27 restaurants , offering everything from Greek cuisine to Michelin-starred dishes. A Dine Around experience is available from morning till night; simply make an appointment with the respective restaurant in advance (in the evenings). Whether you choose the Water Restaurant (Sani Asterias) with its Mediterranean and French cuisine under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco, the Ammos Restaurant (Sani Beach) with its modern Greek cuisine, or Pines (Sani Club), which features only regional products, there are also other themed restaurants where you can enjoy Asian, Italian, international-Mediterranean, or traditional Greek fare.
Thirteen different bars and cafés perfectly complement the huge selection. Here too, the choice can be overwhelming! And of course, the various bars are really lively in the evenings, with live music always playing somewhere!
The area surrounding the Sani Resort offers many opportunities for exciting excursions or relaxing outings, both in terms of scenery and culture. For example, you can in the footsteps of Aristotle and visit his birthplace in Stageira.
