 Hotel description

Located directly at the Lanterna Tennis Center in Rabac on the east coast of Istria, the Valamar Sanfior Hotel and the adjoining Valamar Sanfior Casa are two four-star hotels ideally suited for a tennis holiday for couples or families. Built in 2013, the Valamar Sanfior Casa boasts modern amenities and caters especially to families. From stylish double rooms for two people and spacious triple rooms to family rooms for four and generous family suites with two separate bedrooms, families and small tennis groups will find the perfect accommodation here. The Valamar Sanfior Hotel offers a similar range of rooms, including single, double, and family rooms, as well as elegant suites. Both hotels offer a choice of rooms with sea or garden views, though we would always recommend the sea view.

 Tennis

The Rabac Tennis Center is located directly behind the two tennis hotels and offers a total of 14 clay courts . Impeccably maintained and beautifully terraced, you can play here not far from the sea and surrounded by a pine forest. Tennis lessons are offered throughout the season, from spring to autumn. Whether you're looking for individual lessons, weekend or week-long camps for preseason training or to extend your season, every TennisTraveller the perfect training program here. In summer, guests of the tennis travel specialist Zischka can play on the courts free of charge.

There is a tennis bistro where you can have a drink and snack. And a Zischka tennis shop with tennis equipment, stringing service and much more should not be missed.

 More sports offerings

Cycling enthusiasts will be delighted by the Bike Center Rabac , which, in addition to a wide selection of different bikes with and without motors, also boasts its own bike park. Guided tours for all levels are, of course, available. Furthermore, you can participate in the daily Stay Fit activity program : from aqua aerobics, running, Nordic walking, Zumba, Hot Iron, and yoga to beach volleyball, basketball, or soccer, there's much more on offer, so you can work out even away from the tennis court. Joggers and walkers will find beautiful running paths along the coast – the sea view is motivation enough!

Of course, there are also plenty of water sports on offer: snorkeling, water skiing, diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, jet skiing, and many other adrenaline-pumping activities. You definitely won't get bored. A fitness studio with cardio and strength training equipment is also available and can be used by prior reservation.

 Wellness

Both hotels have a freshwater outdoor pool with a children's section. And both pools boast stunning sea views. Sun loungers and parasols are provided free of charge. The indoor pool at the Sanfior Hotel is fantastic, allowing you to splash around regardless of the weather while enjoying breathtaking sea views. The spa area, featuring a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, and jacuzzi, is free to use, though access is limited to two hours. A variety of massages, facials, and body treatments available for an additional fee.

Just 100 meters from the two hotels lies the rocky beach with small pebble coves . Above these coves is a paved beach area with sun loungers and parasols (for a fee). This beach then transitions into a grassy area and a pine forest.

 Catering

At the Mediterraneo restaurant, you'll enjoy breakfast and dinner as part of your half-board package. The extensive buffets and show cooking stations offer local cuisine as well as Mediterranean and international dishes. Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary at self-service stations during meals. If you get hungry during the day, you can treat yourself to a delicious grilled dish at the Oliva Grill restaurant . They also offer light meals and snacks. Another interesting option is the Dine Around concept , which allows you to visit restaurants at the neighboring Girandella Valamar Collection Resort (for a fee). A nice change of pace!

Various bars, such as the Lobby Bar, the Splash Pool Bar , and the Splash Beach Bar, invite you to enjoy a cocktail, coffee, or a refreshing drink throughout the day or evening. In addition, there are two beach clubs at the neighboring Girandella Valamar Collection Resort , which regularly host DJ sets and concerts. This is the perfect way to end a day of tennis.

 Vicinity

You can walk along the beautiful little beach promenade to the town of Rabac . For a trip to the beautiful Istrian city of Pula (just under 50 km away), you will definitely need a rental car.
