 Hotel description

Nestled peacefully amidst nature, the Aktivhotel Marko is located in Seelach on Lake Klopein in southern Carinthia.  Warmly managed by the Petritsch family, this small, elegant hotel is far removed from the tourist crowds, yet very close to the lake, which, with its own private bathing area, is just under two kilometers away. The 46 rooms, suites, and apartments , as well as the two holiday apartments , are spread across two buildings: the main building and the annex. The bright and welcoming double rooms accommodate one to three people. Suites are ideal for families or TennisTraveller who require more space. Most rooms and suites have been recently renovated and feature a balcony or terrace offering views of the beautiful natural surroundings or even directly onto the tennis courts. For those seeking even more space and independence, one of the two apartments is available. These are located directly on the lake, accommodate up to five people, and can be booked with meals provided by the hotel or on a self-catering basis.

 Tennis

An impressive seven clay courts are located right next to the hotel. Here you can enjoy a fantastic setting from the end of March to the end of October. The courts are impeccably maintained – the hotel owner himself ensures this, as he is a very good tennis player! Use of the courts is free for hotel guests. A private tennis lesson arranged upon request. Those simply looking for a sparring partner will surely find the perfect match through the tennis partner exchange.
