The location of the Parkhotel Holzner is truly unique. There aren't many tennis hotels where you can serve with such a breathtaking panoramic view. On the two clay courts, you can either focus entirely on the ball during training or enjoy the mountain panorama with views of the Dolomites during breaks. This tennis hotel offers a diverse sports and activity program – especially, but not exclusively, for active, fun-loving TennisTraveller families .
The Parkhotel Holzner has stood enthroned at an altitude of 1,200 meters above Bolzano on the Ritten plateau since 1908 and is now run with passion and vision by the fourth generation of the Holzner family. This traditional four-star hotel is located on the southern slope of the Ritten plateau, a 30-minute drive above Bolzano , the capital of South Tyrol. The view from here is simply breathtaking: the Dolomites in the distance, the peaks of the Ortler Group, and the vineyards and apple orchards below will captivate your eyes. The hotel enjoys a tranquil setting within a 10,000 m² park with shady trees and flowering bushes and flowers. While remaining true to its heritage, the hotel's concept has been continuously refined and developed over the years. Important to the owners are a sustainable holiday experience (the hotel has been climate neutral since 2022), the architectural development of the hotel without losing its historical and, in our opinion, unique character, and the creation of a relaxed hotel atmosphere , especially for families.
You can stay in a variety of different rooms and suites to suit your taste. Rooms with views of the surrounding greenery or panoramic views are available. Would you prefer an original Art Nouveau or nostalgic room, or a modern suite where natural materials like wood and fabric are prominently featured? Whether a double room for two or a spacious family suite for up to six people, you'll stay in beautiful, individually designed rooms.
Tennis has a long tradition at the Parkhotel Holzner . The courts were built as early as 1935, and the first international tennis tournaments were held there in 1936. Training is available with Martin Tappeiner, the head coach of the Holzner Tennis Academy . You'll be in excellent hands with him, as Martin has a remarkable ability to create the perfect training package for all TennisTraveller Special tennis retreats are also offered at certain times of the year .

Either way, the hammam is an experience not to be missed. A wide variety of massage, wellness, and beauty treatments are offered, distinguished not only by their enchanting names like "The Song of Distant Lands" or "Resting Amazons."
In the water, you can enjoy either the 12-meter indoor pool or the 16-meter infinity outdoor pool . The outdoor pool is heated and offers simply sensational views of the South Tyrolean mountains. After the sauna or a swim, you can relax on the sunbathing lawn or in one of the beautifully designed relaxation rooms.
