In the small and idyllic village of Heiterwang, nestled in the heart of the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, lies the Pension Posthansl . This 3-star guesthouse, run with great passion by the Marinus-Scholz family, is perfect for TennisTraveller who want to enjoy a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of hotels in a small and intimate setting. The traditional guesthouse is continuously being modernized. In 2023, all rooms were completely renovated and now boast a fresh Alpine chic style. You can choose between single, double, and family rooms , all beautifully furnished with attention to detail. For those needing even more space, the holiday apartment available. Located approximately 500 meters from the guesthouse, it accommodates up to five people and features a fully equipped kitchen. The guesthouse welcomes tennis guests with and without children alike. For the kids, there's a large garden with a playground, and the guesthouse also offers a playroom.

 Tennis

Just a one-minute walk from the guesthouse, you can enjoy a game of tennis at the TC Heiterwang tennis club, which boasts two clay courts and one redcourt court . Impeccably maintained courts with breathtaking views await you. The best part? As a guest of the Posthansl, you can use the courts free of charge . Training can be arranged through the Pro Tennis School in Reutte. The coaches are happy to come to the Heiterwang courts and train all tennis enthusiasts, from beginners to professionals, with enthusiasm and a lot of fun! Group training sessions can also be arranged. In the summer, you can book a special tennis package at the Posthansl, which includes two hours of court time per day and multiple uses of the relaxation area. In winter or in bad weather, you can play in the indoor tennis center in Reutte (approximately a 5-minute drive). There, you'll find three indoor courts with carpet and rubber granulate surfaces.

For all sports-loving TennisTraveller who want more than just tennis on their vacation, the area is simply perfect. The Reutte Sports Center offers two padel courts where you can try out this trendy sport or book lessons. The Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, with its over one hundred designated cycling routes, is an absolute biking paradise . From leisurely flat rides to the neighboring lakes on a road or touring bike to challenging and strenuous mountain bike tours, there's something for everyone. Rental bikes are available (free of charge). Of course, the beautiful surroundings can also be explored on foot year-round. Wonderful walking and hiking trails await you. The guided hikes offered by the hotel are particularly enjoyable, where your hosts will share fascinating insights into the region. At nearby Lake Heiterwang, you can not only enjoy a refreshing swim but also rent a paddleboard (SUP) to explore the lake. In winter, you can carve down the slopes in one of the six ski resorts of the Zugspitz Arena or enjoy the winter paradise while cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
