The ROBINSON CALA SERENA is open all year round. It's especially attractive for TennisTraveller , as it offers not only eight outdoor quartz clay courts but also two indoor quartz clay courts. Relaxation, recreation, and sporting activities on and off the tennis court – all at a year-round club!
Summer season: April 11 - November 2, 2025 and May 1 - November 1, 2026 | Winter season: November 2, 2025 - May 1, 2026
The ROBINSON CALA SERENA is a true ROBINSON institution – the club has been around since 1975. Located on a peninsula directly by the sea on Mallorca's picturesque southeast coast, this part of the island still retains a sense of unspoiled nature, offering a beautiful interplay between idyllic little coves and the sometimes rugged rocky coastline.
From Palma airport, the transfer time to the resort is approximately 45 minutes. The resort is situated on a 120,000 km² property with stunning gardens on a peninsula. A total of 306 single, double, and suite rooms . For those seeking a truly regal experience, the over 150 m² Presidential Suite is available on three floors. Some rooms offer breathtaking sea views, while the view of the beautiful gardens is equally delightful.
For tennis players, the club is an ideal year-round destination , and with a total of 10 tennis courts, the ROBINSON Club is a leader in terms of court capacity! In addition to the 8 outdoor quartz sand courts, 6 of which are floodlit, the club even boasts 2 indoor courts – also with quartz sand. Unusual and therefore perfect for us TennisTraveller . Court rental is, of course, included in the all-inclusive club – and you can also borrow HEAD rackets free of charge. Guest tournaments, introductory offers, and a training program with something for everyone, whether individual or group lessons, are available. Special rates are offered for children at the ROBY Tennis School. The club also has three padel courts where you can easily try out this trendy sport.
A club-owned driving range and the island's impressive 25 golf courses make it perfect for golfers. Various golf lessons are available for a fee. And of course, Mallorca is also known as a biking paradise : you can rent road bikes, mountain bikes, or triathlon bikes at the club and explore the island on your own or with a tour. However, both bike rentals and guided tours cost extra. Those who prefer a motorized two-wheeler can rent a Harley-Davidson and hit the road!
The WellFit® program offers something for every fitness enthusiast : a fitness studio (for ages 16 and up) with panoramic views, a wide variety of classes such as Body Styling, Functional Training, Fascia Training, etc. Group classes are available for strength and endurance training, Aqua Fit, Indoor Cycling, Hot Iron, Slings Athletics, and more. Pilates, Yoga, and Stretch & Relax are also offered. For those seeking a truly special experience, a personal trainer can be booked.
Attention divers! From the bay, you can explore a fantastic underwater world on your dive, either directly or with a short transfer time. The external dive center offers (for a fee) everything that beginners and experienced divers alike need.
Yes, and otherwise, there are sports activities offered almost all day long: beach volleyball, beach soccer, cross boccia – to name just a few. In addition, there's the entertainment program – discreetly in the background – participation is optional. A nightclub awaits all night owls and party animals – and a small midnight snack is available there to keep you going.
Relaxing on the beach – enjoying the small bay right next to the club – wonderful. There's just one small catch: the sun loungers and parasols are only available for a fee – as is so often the case in Spain.
For active relaxation, you can either jump into the sports pool (unheated) or the heated fun pool . Afterwards, head to the spa : there you'll find two saunas: a Finnish sauna and a bio sauna, an indoor and outdoor relaxation pool, a Cleopatra bath, a lovely relaxation area, and massage and beauty rooms where you can pamper yourself.
The club offers 3 restaurants and 6 bars . Whether you choose the main restaurant with its outdoor terrace, the Spanish specialty restaurant with selected tapas (drinks at an extra charge, reservations required) and a spacious outdoor terrace, or the gourmet restaurant "L'Anima" (partially with a set menu, at an extra charge and reservations required) – you can feast everywhere.
ROBINSON Clubs are known for their high-quality, all-inclusive meals . You can eat and drink almost all day long – with only a few exceptions, drinks are included in the price. As the club is a "feel-good" club, you'll also be treated to special WellFood dishes and drinks – all very healthy! And every two weeks, there's the "taste JAM," where you'll be treated to burgers, music, and finger food – street food vibes included.
Listing the entire excursion program here would be too much – the club team is best equipped to help you with this and knows what's most beautiful to explore at each time of year. However, the horseback riding excursions in the Cala Mondrago Natural Park are definitely something special. You can reach the town center of Cala d'Or quickly by taxi in a few minutes or on foot in about 15 minutes.
The ROBINSON CALA SERENA was tested and recommended by our TennisTraveller Jan: "You don't often find this in Mallorca: indoor courts - there are two of them at Cala Serena. This way you can enjoy the ROBINSON amenities all year round!"
