MARA TeReMeer Spring Camp in Meerbusch - the tennis camp for season preparation "around the corner"


You can perfectly prepare for the new clay court season 2026 not only in the warm, far-off south. You can also do so wonderfully in the heart of Germany, in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf. There, from April 16-19, 2026 the MARA TeReMeer Spring Camp Depending on the booked program, there will be between 1.5 and 3.5 hours of on-court training on a total of seven clay courts with the coaches of the MARA Tennis Base, focusing on technique, tactics, and footwork. This includes morning and afternoon fitness sessions and a daily, interesting tennis workshop. The camp is suitable for TennisTraveller of all skill levels and age groups and can also be booked by the day. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can simply practice on the hard court in the indoor tennis court. And if you still need accommodation, you can choose from various hotel options.

MARA TeReMeer Spring Camp - the perfect season preparation in Meerbusch

For those who don't want to put in the effort of a tennis camp in southern climes, the MARA TeReMeer Spring Camp the perfect alternative for successful season preparation.

From April 16-19, 2026, the outdoor clay courts of the Meerbusch Sports and Tennis Resort the ideal venue. Marc Raffel, a certified sports teacher, German Basketball Association (DTB) A-level coach, and former Bundesliga player, will lead the camp and will be supported by Karsten Focke, Stephan Frings, Stefan Reddemann (all certified sports teachers), Ray Shimizu, Marvin Cosentino, and other experienced coaches.

In bad weather, the great TeReMeer indoor tennis courts can be used.

 Camp routine

  • Tennis training is preferably in groups of four: Training sessions start at 9:00, 10:30, and 12:00; free play is possible from 15:00 and 16:30.
  • Technique, tactics and match training.
  • Morning fitness (approx. 20 min.) and afternoon fitness (approx. 45 min.), including tennis-specific athletic training.
  • Daily workshop (approx. 30 minutes) with topics related to tennis at lunchtime.
  • Lunch and dinner are available daily at the TeReMeer Bistro at your own expense.
  • Optional: joint visit to Düsseldorf’s old town.
  • Each participant receives an exclusive camp T-shirt.
  • Stringing service available on-site at the Pro Shop.
  • Hotel recommendations: B&B Hotel Neuss, Mercure Kaarst, Hotel Landsknecht and Lindner Hotel Düsseldorf Seestern.

Basic training content for all age and skill levels (from amateur players to professionals) includes technique, tactics, match training and fitness units.
