tournament sponsorship of the METZINGEN OPEN , the international ITF tournament with a prize pool of $30,000 , is something truly special. July 20th to 26th, 2026 , at the TC Metzingen eV tennis club at the foot of the Swabian Alps. It's special in two ways: I've had a strong connection to TC Metzingen since my youth, played on the team there for many years, and was also active on the board. Today, two of my children play there on different teams. Therefore, it was a natural step to become part of the organizing team led by tournament director Markus Gentner. Experiencing how an ITF tournament is organized is truly exciting, a lot of fun, and a very special form of tournament sponsorship. I'll definitely keep you updated on the developments!
