Travelscout Matz reports from the padel camp at ROBINSON SARIGERME PARK

Like a lid on a pot – that's how perfectly our travel scout Matz fit into the padel camp with Yannik Mann at the end of June at ROBINSON SARIGERME PARK in Turkey. After our initial conversation, it was clear to me that we'd once again struck gold with our travel scout. Matz, a huge padel fan and well-traveled TennisTraveller was the ideal person ROBINSON SARIGERME PARK and the 5-day padel camp with padel expert Yannik Mann. I had hoped that our padel expert Yannik and Matz would become the "dream padel doubles team" during the week. But the fact that the chemistry with the coaching team and the other camp participants, including none other than beach volleyball Olympic champion Julius Brink, was so great off the padel courts was a real treat! The boys not only had a blast playing padel together that week, but also bonded over many other things. But now it's best if you read for yourselves how Matz experienced his padel week. "I have just returned from a fantastic week-long padel training camp at the Robinson Club "Sarigerme Park" (Türkiye).

The camp was led by the women's national team coach Yannik Mann, the "Padel Man," and Adrian Laege, who did a fantastic job and took us to the next level of padel 🤩 (we even achieved new, previously unknown flexibility during the obligatory stretching exercises after the training sessions 😉). The training group was absolutely amazing, and we had a tremendous amount of fun not only on the court but also off it.

Together we also took advantage of other activities offered by the extensive sports program at the Robinson Club (great MTB bike tour with Sadek, tennis with Roman, surfing, gym, etc.).

The club and its staff did the rest. We received a warm welcome and always had chilled drinks and fruit available at the edge of the two padel courts during our training sessions and Americano tournaments.

The food was amazing; very varied and enhanced with Turkish specialties. The resort offers large, very clean rooms with balconies and a beautifully situated beach with very fine sand and a great nautical center.

I highly recommend this experience, and the week was far too short. There's only one thing to do: come back and enjoy it again.
