Fresh, modern, innovative – simply different! That's the ISAR OPEN , the ATP Challenger tournament being held for the first time from August 4th to 12th, 2018 at TC Großhesselohe in Munich . And since we at TennisTraveller are also fresh, innovative, modern, and different, we're absolutely thrilled to be supporting the tournament as a partner! #isarpartner
When Alessandra Trenkle contacted me about eight weeks ago, you could already tell from her message what energy and motivation were behind the entire tournament. And after our first phone call, it was clear: we would support the tournament with the resources we had available.
So now there are only two weeks until the tournament starts, and so much has happened. From what I understand, Alessandra's organizing team is working almost day and night, but they're always available to answer questions and handle everything with unwavering motivation and enthusiasm. It's truly remarkable and admirable!
Kudos also to tournament director Dominik Schulz and organizer Maximilian Schnabel, who managed to attract some fantastic players to the ISAR OPEN. The field is now complete: alongside German tennis greats Matthias Bachinger (local hero!), Yannick Hanfmann, Florian Mayer (on his farewell tour), Mats Moraing, and Oscar Otte, the seedings are led by Czech Jiri Vesely and Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas. The cut for the 32-player main draw is at world number 191 – so top-class tennis can be enjoyed all week long! And the qualifying list, with names like Dustin Brown, Tomasz Bellucci, Rudi Molleker, Tim Puetz, and many other high-caliber players, is anything but disappointing!
We're currently putting together our marketing materials. Our ad for the ISAR OPEN tournament magazine is finalized – we're eagerly awaiting printing. Our flyers and roll-up banner are ready and will be available at the startup booth throughout the tournament week. We're also looking forward to meeting the other startups dropshot , Love40 , and i nlovewithtennis !

We'll keep you updated for the next two weeks leading up to the tournament and during the tournament week itself. I probably won't be able to be there the whole week – my own ambitious tennis kids need their tennis taxi too! But as always, we'll find a solution!
