In the second part of our Tennis & Wellness special, we open the spa doors of the 5-star Andreus Golf & Spa Resort in St. Leonhard, South Tyrol. The hotel, or rather the very friendly marketing manager Michaela, along with the spa and wellness team, answered our interview questions.

The hotel and the two tennis courts are beautifully integrated into the hillside, so you can enjoy the mountain panorama while playing tennis, as well as from one of the panoramic relaxation rooms or the panoramic sauna. And this "gazing into the distance" definitely contributes immensely to "unwinding."
But now let's get started with our questions, because we want to learn more about the spa and wellness area at the Andreus Golf & Spa Resort :
The spa area in our 5-star tennis and wellness hotel has a total area of over 8,000m² and offers a total of 5 heated pools , a refreshing bathing pond, a huge Mediterranean garden, a large sauna area with several relaxation areas, as well as the new fitness tower with adults-only relaxation area and infinity pool .
The Andreus Sauna World, spanning 2,000 square meters , features a total of 12 different saunas , including classic steam saunas, bio saunas, and Finnish saunas, as well as some very special highlights: the Panorama Event Sauna with up to five show infusions daily, the Steam Bath Event Sauna, and the brine inhalation room. This area is adults-only. For families, there is a "clothing-on" sauna in the pool area with a steam bath, Finnish sauna, and infrared sauna.
We currently have 25 employees in the spa & fitness area: 18 beauticians and masseurs, a physiotherapist and a hairdresser, as well as 7 fitness and sauna specialists.
The range of activities on offer here at our Wellness Hotel Andreus is very large; we recommend swimming in the heated pools, the infrared heated loungers in the sauna area, or relaxation sessions as part of the active fitness program, such as yoga, sound bowl relaxation, or back-fit.
The best option is to book a private session with a personal trainer or physiotherapist. This allows for a completely individualized treatment of these minor ailments.
Relax by the pools or the fireplace, enjoy an exciting sauna infusion from the world champion team, have dinner in the panoramic restaurant on the 5th floor with wonderful views of the Passeier mountains, and then enjoy a truly restful sleep in the rooms made of Swiss pine with a view of the starry sky directly above the bed.
