Since when and where can pickleball be played in your area?Since 2025, we've been offering pickleball at the Ali Bey Resort in Sorgun , with 5 courts right on the beach. From 2026, we will also be building 4 courts directly on the seafront Kalimera Kriti,
Do you already have pickleball coaches, and if so, where are they trained?We will expand our tennis and padel academy to include pickleball from 2026 onwards and will then have trained the first pickleball coaches.
What potential do you see in the trendy sport of pickleball?Pickleball has enormous potential because it's remarkably easy to initiate rallies. This makes the sport appealing to a much wider audience, and anyone can play and try it out. The sport's current growth is immense, which is why we also see great potential for pickleball tours.
What synergies can we tennis players expect?Tennis players have a significant advantage in pickleball. They can better judge the ball's trajectory, timing is crucial, and hitting the ball shouldn't pose a problem. Many aspects of tennis can be transferred to pickleball, which is why tennis players usually have a greater advantage than other ball sports players.
Padel and pickleball – a great symbiosis of racket sports or more of a rivalry? Where do you think these two trendy sports will develop?Here we have more of a symbiosis of racket sports than fierce competition. It's perfect for clubs to offer all three racket sports (tennis, padel, pickleball). This way, there's something for every type of player. This is also the idea behind our Patricio World Class Sports Centers, where tennis, padel, pickleball, and Fitness First studios are located in close proximity to each other.
What are your specific plans regarding pickleball in the short to medium term?Pickleball will be gradually integrated into all our sports centers to fully embrace the concept of racket sports. The new Patricio Racket Club will encompass all three racket sports starting in 2026. To this end, we also plan to train our coaches with pickleball coaching licenses and thus establish a professional academy.
