Our travel scouts report from the tennis and cabaret hotel in Naturns

However, the coronavirus crisis and the associated travel restrictions thwarted their plans. Then, quite spontaneously in July, the idea arose to embark on the Travelscout trip. It was a very special occasion, as it fell directly after the couple's wedding. The booking of the small-scale arts hotel and the European Tennis Academy , so everything was organized in no time and the trip could begin.

The tennis hotel was a real hit with the couple : the blend of old and traditional elements combined with modern touches is truly unique. The room was lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. For dinner, they dined at the exceptionally good steakhouse in the hotel's basement – ​​that earned top marks. They weren't quite as impressed with the restaurant on the ground floor, but that wasn't due to the food itself, but rather the somewhat unfriendly and unpretentious service. Overall, they rated the hotel highly, especially praising the host, Hannes Christanell, for his warm hospitality. The only slight drawback was the lack of a spa area.

The hotel's location is particularly fantastic : the Naturns Tennis with its four clay and four indoor courts, is just a five-minute walk away. There, Gery from the European Tennis Academy . The group training session was quickly converted into private lessons. Since our two travel scouts have very different skill levels, Gery took them under his wing for individual instruction, introducing them to the Mental Match Play concept . They both found it really interesting and helpful. Gery is a really nice and cool guy and had tons of great tips for leisure activities and restaurants.
