 Hotel description

You can reach the island of Brač by car. Drive to Split, then take the ferry to the island. From there it's just a short drive to Bol. It's more convenient to fly: the island has its own small airport, although direct flights are mainly available during the summer months. Otherwise, the most convenient option is to fly to Split. From there you can book either a shuttle service or a speedboat transfer through the hotel. The 4-star Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa, is beautifully set within a large garden with shady trees. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach either the world-famous Golden Horn or the charming old town of Bol. The hotel has 307 rooms, which are spread across two residential areas. You can choose between standard, premium or superior double rooms and various suites with or without sea views. For families there are special family rooms with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our tip: be sure to book a room with a sea view – the view of the azure sea from the balcony is definitely worth the small extra charge. During peak season an entertainment program is offered for children of all ages. Dogs are also welcome at the hotel.

 Tennis

The hotel's tennis facility is enormous, boasting 20 top maintained clay courts including two center courts and a  "tennis stadium" with 2,000 seats. Eight of the courts are equipped with floodlights. International tennis tournaments are held at the tennis center year-round. Tennis is a way of life from morning till night! A particular highlight is the panoramic tennis bar on the roof of the tennis courts offering a great view of most of the tennis center and the surrounding area. Tennis lessons can be booked on-site with a competent and friendly team of coaches offering training for all ages and skill levels. You can also have your tennis racket restrung in the tennis shop.

 More sports offerings

Other sports facilities include bocce, aqua aerobics, bowling alleys, kayaks, pedal boats, water skis and jet skis, banana boat rides, parasailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and a diving center. So there's plenty to choose from besides the tennis court. In the well-equipped fitness room with cardio and strength training equipment, you can work out on your own or with a personal trainer. The beach promenade is ideal for a pleasant jog.

 Wellness

The 4,000 sq wellness and thalassoy oasis , which has repeatedly been awarded the title of best wellness hotel in Croatia, is truly something special: various saunas such as a Roman sauna, bio sauna, Turkish steam bath, a large water park with seawater pools, whirlpools and beautiful relaxation areas offer plenty for a deep recovery and relaxation. However, the treatment menu is particularly noteworthy featuring many classic as well as exotic treatments, all centered on the healing properties of seawater. You can swim either in the seawater pool (with a separate children's pool) or in the sea, which slopes gently into the water from a pebble beach. Sun umbrellas and loungers are included at the pool; unfortunately there is a charge for them at the beach.

 Catering

You can choose between bed and breakfast or half board. Both meals are served in the large hotel restaurant. Enjoy a variety of Mediterranean and international cuisine at the diverse buffets where regional and fresh ingredients are emphasized. For a special evening treat the Vallum à la carte tavern Bolero cocktail bar, located in the pine forest along the beach promenade, is particularly lovely .
