More stability and strength with Mike's Tennis Tabata - now also with resistance band
Small but mighty – that's how you could describe working with resistance bands. Our coach, Mike Diehl, is a huge fan of these bands, as they're portable and offer maximum effectiveness in your workouts. That's why we've integrated two additional exercises with the Deuser band into this second tennis Tabata session. A challenging workout that will give you the strength and stability you need for the clay court season.
Today we'll also be working with a resistance band
Please warm up briefly before your workout; about 5 minutes should be enough: either a little jogging, exercise bike, skipping rope or jumping jacks.
For these exercises, you'll need a resistance band, such as the one from Deuser. You can also do the four exercises in Tabata style, meaning you perform each exercise twice for 20 seconds each, with a 10-second break in between. Then move on to the next exercise. Depending on your fitness level, you can repeat the entire circuit 3, 5, or 7 times. Let's get started with Mike and Basti!
You can find a detailed description of the four exercises on our TVPro online blog
